Litigation Attorney
Shelby is an attorney on Varnum’s Litigation and Trial Practice Team. She focuses on general civil litigation, complex commercial litigation, and criminal litigation.
Shelby’s practice includes complex commercial disputes for clients in the automotive supply chain and manufacturing industries. She represents clients in matters involving automotive supply chain disruptions, commercial contract disputes, contract terms and conditions, and other supply chain-related business conflicts in Michigan as well as Illinois, Missouri, and New Jersey.
Shelby also has experience handling internal investigations, property-related litigation, arbitration-related disputes, defamation claims, and non-competition agreements. She has achieved favorable results for clients through strategic motion practice and has first-chair trial experience in federal court.
In addition to her client work, Shelby is actively involved in Varnum’s recruiting and professional development initiatives, including the firm’s summer associate program and new associate mentoring efforts.
