Seth is currently an associate attorney in Varnum's Litigation and Trial Practice groups. As part of the litigation group, Seth represents clients throughout the litigation process, including at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial. He has litigated cases involving complex commercial litigation, employment disputes, environmental litigation, and personal injury. Seth also serves as the prosecuting attorney for a number of municipalities in Western Michigan, prosecuting misdemeanor crimes and ordinance violations.

In addition to his litigation practice, Seth also advises corporate clients on regulatory matters. For instance, Seth advises clients on compliance with California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, better known as Proposition 65, as well as guidance and rules issued by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA). Seth has assisted clients in evaluating their products, product packaging, and supply chains to ensure that their products' labeling complies with the complexities of Proposition 65. He has also represented clients with enforcement actions brought against them for Proposition 65 labeling and warning violations.

Also on the regulatory front, Seth has helped clients bring their marketing and advertising into compliance with federal advertising law. Specifically, he has advised clients on how to bring their online advertisements (including website pages, videos, blogs and surveys) into compliance with the laws and regulations enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Federal Drug Administration (FDA).

Seth formerly served as a judicial clerk for Kent County 17th Circuit Court, serving the Honorable Patricia Gardner and the Honorable Patrick Hillary. While in law school, he received several legal writing awards and was a member of the Trial Practice Institute.

When Seth is not representing clients, he is the Varsity Boys Tennis Coach for Allegan High School, where he coached his team to a Division IV State Championship in 2019.
