Stephen Gaynier is a Legal Recruiting Manager at Varnum, where he oversees the firm’s on-campus and summer associate recruiting programs, coordinates lateral attorney searches, and manages the interview and offer process. He approaches each stage of the process with a focus on creating a thoughtful, engaging candidate experience that reflects Varnum’s culture and values.

Prior to joining Varnum, Stephen worked in the environmental consulting industry, where his primary focus was recruiting environmental scientists and engineers and managing his firm’s summer internship program. In addition to his recruiting responsibilities, Stephen is a member of Varnum’s Diversity Committee and serves on the Grand Rapids Chamber’s OutPro Advisory Council.
