Varnum recently represented Hammond’s Candies in its sale to Lolli & Pops, a U.S.-based candy brand and portfolio company of TerraMar Capital.
Founded in 1920 in Denver, Colorado, Hammond’s Candies is known for its handcrafted candy canes, lollipops and other nostalgic sweets. The company sells products under three national brands, including Hammond’s, Old Dominion and McCraw’s.
Varnum’s deal team represented Hammond’s Candies in all aspects of the sale. Varnum partner Jim Eardley led the full-service team which included Chris George (Corporate), Lauren Parker (Corporate), Shawn Strand (Tax), Charles Russman (Employee Benefits) and Yvonne George (Immigration).
