Over the past three months, the Varnum real estate team of Tom Forster, Ed Gusky and Gerardo Ortega has assisted clients in successful closings of commercial real estate transactions totaling in excess of $300 million.
The team, led by Naples-based attorneys Forster and Ortega, has represented clients in various acquisitions, sales, financings and joint ventures across multiple asset classes including multi-family properties, office buildings and shopping centers, located across nine states.
In each matter, Varnum provided various levels of representation including complex purchase agreement negotiation with national sellers and counsel, joint ventures with institutional investors, family offices and high-net-worth individuals, as well as 1031 structuring, bridge financing and master leases. The diversity of clients and projects allowed the team to leverage their experience to obtain great results for the clients.
