Varnum attorney Jordan Valentine has been elected Board Chair of Ele’s Place Ann Arbor, building on her previous service as a member of the organization’s board.
Ele’s Place Ann Arbor is a non-profit that provides healing centers for grieving children, teens, young adults, and their families across Michigan. Valentine plans to continue making this resource available to more young people navigating loss by drawing on her connections throughout the Washtenaw community,
As a member of Varnum’s Litigation and ADR Practice Team, Valentine focuses her practice on shareholder disputes, breach of contract matters, real estate zoning disputes, and regulatory compliance. She represents clients throughout all stages of litigation, including hearings, depositions, trials, and appellate proceedings. She also assists clients with regulatory compliance counseling and the preparation of legal memoranda.
Outside of her practice and serving as Board Chair at Ele’s Place Ann Arbor, Valentine judges Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions. She graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University.
