Rachel A. Durbin

Rachel Durbin supports multiple practice teams through legislative and regulatory research, statutory review, legal writing, drafting, and case preparation. Before joining Varnum, she interned with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Legislation, Regulation, and Energy Efficiency, where she researched regulatory and policy matters. Her experience also includes an internship with the Indiana Supreme Court, and a yearlong internship focused on real property and water rights.

During law school, Rachel served as a senior executive editor of the Indiana Law Journal and a research assistant at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Her admission to the State Bar of Michigan is currently pending.
