Varnum Partner Sarah Wixson Named to Crain’s Notable Women in Law

Varnum partner Sarah Wixson has been named to Notable Women in Law by Crain’s Detroit Business. The feature recognizes top women in the legal profession in Southeast Michigan, based on their career accomplishments, track record of success, contributions to their community and mentorship of others.

Wixson is a partner and co-leads Varnum’s Health Care Practice Team. She works with physicians, physician groups, hospitals and health care entities on litigation, compliance and regulatory work, and licensing. She additionally provides corporate and litigation services to clients in a variety of industries.

Bradley Casemore, CEO of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, nominated Wixson for the award. His nomination included this endorsement:

She was named an Up and Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly in 2020 and she has been listed in Michigan Super Lawyers for the past two years. Most recently, she was named to the 2023 Class of “Women in the Law” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
