Real Estate One, Michigan’s largest residential real estate brokerage, recently announced the relocation of corporate headquarters in Southfield, in a reflection of consolidated office needs. The firm will occupy the first and fifth floors of the Evergreen Atrium office building at 26261 Evergreen Road.
Varnum real estate attorney Kevin Macaddino negotiated the lease on behalf of the firm with developer and landlord Etkin LLC, which owns the building. The 11-year lease with option to purchase included reserved parking, signage and build-out considerations of the 20,000+ square foot space.
Real Estate One has over 3,000 employees, most of whom work as real estate agents around the state. The firm will occupy the first floor of the new location as a training space for new agents. The fifth floor will house Real Estate One and its affiliates including John Adams Mortgage, Capital Title, Insurance One, Rental Management One, Investments One, and Relocation America International. About 140 people will be based in the new space.
