For the seventh consecutive year, Varnum Executive Partner Scott Hill has been named to the 200 Most Influential Business Leaders in West Michigan by Crain’s Grand Rapids Business.

The annual list recognizes leaders based on factors such as company size, growth rate, geographic reach, and the strength of personal and professional networks.

He frequently guides clients through complex mergers and acquisitions across a variety of industries, including automotive, health care, and private equity, helping companies navigate challenges to achieve growth.

Recognized for his leadership in Michigan’s legal and business community, Hill was appointed in 2025 to the Law360 Michigan Editorial Advisory Board and named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Leaders in the Law Class of 2025. He also serves on the Grand Rapids Chamber’s Budget and Finance Committee and is an active member of the Economic Club of Grand Rapids.

Hill has also served on the boards of the Bite Cancer Foundation and the Clarkston Basketball Foundation and volunteers as a youth sports coach for baseball.
