Maureen Rouse-Ayoub Named a Notable Leader in Employment and Labor by Crain’s

Varnum partner Maureen Rouse-Ayoub has been named a Notable Leader in Employment and Labor by Crain’s Detroit Business.

Rouse-Ayoub, who leads Varnum’s Labor and Employment Practice Team, represents clients in all areas of labor and employment, including advising on labor management relations such as union election proceedings, collective bargaining and contract enforcement in arbitration and before the National Labor Relations Board.

Rouse-Ayoub has given more than 30 presentations on workplace topics to various employer organizations in recent years, including more than a dozen to Michigan Chamber of Commerce membership. She serves on the Health and Human Resources Committee of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and has been invited to speak to Chambers of Commerce in other states as well. This year, Rouse-Ayoub will serve as a panelist at the 2023 Bernard Gottfried Memorial Labor Law Symposium at Wayne State Law School for the third time.

Within the community, Rouse-Ayoub is a volunteer with Northern Michigan Adaptive Sports, providing recreational opportunities for persons with disabilities. She is recognized by numerous attorney-ranking organizations, including The Best Lawyers in America® and BTI Client Service All Stars for her commitment to superior client service.

Rouse-Ayoub will be featured in the October 16 edition of Crain’s Detroit Business in a special section recognizing Notable Leaders in Employment and Labor.
