Maria focuses on drafting contractual agreements, legal memos, and client advisories, as well as conducting legal research across multiple practice areas of the firm.
Prior to joining Varnum, Maria participated in the Wayne State Business and Community Law Clinic where she provided legal guidance and drafted governing documents for Detroit businesses. Her Note, titled “The PFAS Problem: How Wetland Regulations Can Protect Michigan’s Drinking Water From Chemical Contaminants,” was published in the Wayne Law Review and selected for the “Best Note” Award.
