Conor is a business attorney who focuses his practice on advising closely held businesses, family offices, and family-owned businesses on the full spectrum of legal issues that arise throughout the lifecycle of their companies. He serves as a trusted advisor to owners and leadership teams, guiding them through mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and commercial transactions.

Many of Conor’s closely held and family-owned business clients rely on him as outside general counsel, turning to him as a first call when legal issues arise and trusting him to coordinate with Varnum’s full-service team of specialists when needed.

As part of his closely held business practice, Conor frequently guides owners through sensitive business divorce and corporate governance disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty and minority shareholder oppression claims. His experience at the Delaware Court of Chancery provides valuable insight into how courts analyze complex governance disputes, allowing him to advise clients strategically when conflicts develop.
