Supreme Court Clears Way for Same-sex Spouse Immigration Benefits

The Supreme Court Defense Of Marriage Act decision allows US Citizenship and Immigration Services to process immigration benefits to same-sex spouses who entered into a marriage where the marriage was legally authorized. USCIS promises guidance on implementation of the decision and the newly available benefits and indicates it is poised to act quickly.
