Gabriel Edelson Joins Varnum Corporate Team

Leading M&A and Private Equity Lawyer Augments Firm’s Transactional Practice

Varnum is pleased to announce that Gabriel Edelson has joined the firm’s Business and Corporate Services practice team. He is based in Varnum’s Birmingham office.

Edelson focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate governance and general corporate matters. He represents private equity firms, portfolio companies and a wide variety of other businesses in cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions, ranging in size from under $1 million to over $1 billion.

A 2009 graduate of New York University School of Law, where he served as Executive Articles Editor for the Annual Survey of American Law, Edelson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, graduating with highest distinction. While at Michigan, he served as a senior sports editor, writer and columnist for The Michigan Daily.

Edelson serves as a board member of the Founders Junior Council at the Detroit Institute of Arts and is active in the Michigan region of ORT America. He previously practiced in Chicago and is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York as well as Michigan.
