Varnum Welcomes Litigation Partner Marshall Bender

Varnum is pleased to announce that Marshall Bender has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Team as a partner in its Naples office.

Bender’s practice focuses on complex litigation matters for national corporations, financial institutions, and community associations throughout Florida. He represents clients in various matters, including commercial litigation, construction and insurance litigation, commercial foreclosures, contract disputes, and product liability claims. His work covers all phases of dispute resolution from pre-suit negotiation through trial and appeal.

In the condominium and homeowners’ association space, Bender represents associations in matters involving contract enforcement, collections, and related matters.

Bender’s accomplishments have earned him recognition as a Rising Star in Business Litigation by Florida Super Lawyers from 2016 to 2018, as well as inclusion in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation in 2025.

Outside of his practice, Bender serves on the emeritus counsel of the United Way of Collier and the Keys and is active in various other community organizations.
