Varnum represented the owners of a group of certified MillerKnoll furniture dealerships known as Trellis in connection with the acquisition of Greenville-based Luxury Janitorial Services.
Luxury Janitorial Services provides cleaning and janitorial services to businesses and office buildings throughout West Michigan.
The team of Will Payne, Neal Van Allsburg and Austin Sonneveldt, principals at Trellis, plan to grow the newly acquired janitorial business through increased service offerings and by attracting new customers within West Michigan. Luxury Janitorial currently includes more than 180 employees and serves commercial and healthcare clients from Lansing to West Michigan.
Varnum represented the team in the matter, negotiating and drafting all transaction documents and providing due diligence assistance. Varnum partner Jake Droppers led the M&A team which also included Alex Campbell.
