Varnum is pleased to announce Neil Youngdahl has joined the firm’s litigation practice. He is based in Varnum’s Grand Rapids office.
Youngdahl joins the firm after clerking for the Hon. Sean F. Cox on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and for the Hon. Richard Allen Griffin on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Prior to his clerkships, Youngdahl served as an associate at Varnum gaining experience in regulatory defense and complex commercial litigation. During law school, he served as an intern for the Hon. Robert Holmes Bell on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and as an extern for the Hon. Joan Larsen on the Michigan Supreme Court.
Youngdahl is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he served as an Articles Editor for the Michigan Journal of Environmental and Administrative Law. He graduated summa cum laude from Alma College.
