AbleVu is a digital platform dedicated to improving accessibility in public spaces for individuals with disabilities. The platform provides virtual tours, photos, and checklists to show whether a venue meets users’ needs, including ramps, seating, restrooms, and other accessibility features. Through these services, AbleVu empowers users to make informed decisions and navigate the world with greater confidence.
The company joined Varnum’s MiSpringboard program in 2024 and has worked with the firm on a full corporate conversion from a Michigan LLC to a Delaware corporation. Varnum guided AbleVu through all necessary filings, post-conversion compliance, settlement and operating agreements, and advisor agreements, providing a strong legal foundation to support the company’s continued growth.
The Varnum team advising AbleVu is led by partner Matthew Bower and includes Yezi (Amy) Yan, Kelly Doyle, and Mary Palus.
Launched in 2011, the MiSpringboard program was created to remove barriers associated with starting a business by providing free legal services to startups. To date, Varnum has assisted nearly 1,000 clients through the program.
