Jude Pereira Named Go To Lawyer for Family Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly

March 27, 2025

Varnum partner Jude Pereira has been recognized as a “Go To Lawyer” for Family Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Pereira is a partner on the Family Law Practice Team with over 25 years of experience in his field. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of family law and has a particular focus on matters involving large, complex business valuations and hidden or undisclosed assets. His skill also extends to cases involving challenging custody disputes as well as mental health issues as they relate to a parent’s ability to effectively co-parent in the best interest of their children – an issue that can often be overlooked but has a significant impact on both children and parents involved in litigation.

Pereira represents clients throughout Michigan, with an emphasis in Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo counties. His primary goal is to assist clients in reaching fair settlements in an efficient and cost-effective manner for all parties. When a resolution cannot be reached, his litigation skills secure robust, strategic representation for his clients in the courtroom.

In addition to his practice, Pereira is a former Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and an active member of the State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association Family Law sections.

Pereira will be profiled along with other honorees in a special section of the March 24, 2025, edition of Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
