Judicial Law Clerks at Varnum

Through the course of their clerkships, judicial clerks gain a wealth of experience and information

Many of our attorneys are former clerks. We recognize and value the practical experience a clerkship adds to an already strong law school record. With former clerks from U.S. District Courts to the U.S. Courts of Appeals, we find that former judicial clerks play a strong role in all of our practice areas.

We welcome applications from judicial clerks throughout the year. Applications can be emailed to Lindsae Badgerow, director of legal recruiting and professional development.

“As a clerk, my job involved constantly evaluating arguments. In doing so, I learned what good and bad arguments look like. Now, I can use many of my research and writing skills that I also gained, in conjunction with those effective advocacy techniques that I learned, to effectively advocate for my clients.”
