Patrick J. Reid has joined Varnum LLP as its Executive Director. Reid will lead the firm’s administrative staff and work closely with the firm’s Policy and Executive committees.
Reid has served as a senior executive for a variety of professional service organizations for more than 25 years. He has a strong focus on leadership and fiscal capabilities, with experience including human resource oversight, IT infrastructure management, financial reporting/analytics, compliance issues and strategic planning.
In addition to operations management, Reid has led and managed mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions of professional organizations throughout his career while serving as CFO and CEO at such organizations.

Reid holds a Masters of Accountancy/Tax from the University of Tennessee, where he also received his undergraduate degree in accounting. In college, he served as co-captain of the track and field team and earned All-American and All-SEC Honors.
