Participation in E-Verify Delayed Again For Certain Federal Contractors

The implementation date of a regulation requiring certain federal contractors and subcontractors to participate in E-Verify will be delayed until September 8, 2009 to allow President Obama’s administration more time to complete its review of the regulation. Under the anticipated rule, certain federal contracts awarded and solicitations issued after September 8, 2009 will include a clause requiring use of E-Verify.
