Under the rule, certain federal contracts awarded and solicitations issued after February 20, 2009 will include a clause requiring use of E-Verify.

USCIS has not released the revised Form I-9. The revised form is anticipated by the end of the month, and will be available on the USCIS website. Employers are required to use the revised Form I-9 for new hires and reverifications beginning February 2, 2009.
