Financial Services Litigation Attorney

Charity Olson is a member of the Litigation Team. Her practice focuses on the defense of individual and class action lawsuits arising from alleged violations of consumer financial statutes, including lending, debt collection, and credit reporting claims. 

Charity represents clients across the country in matters involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and other federal and state consumer protection laws. She also regularly defends clients in investigations and proceedings initiated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and other federal and state regulatory agencies.

Charity’s clients include lending institutions, mortgage servicers, credit card issuers, debt purchasers, collection agencies, law firms and other financial services providers. She also serves as outside compliance counsel on a national basis to numerous companies within the financial services industry.
