The American Wind Energy Association and The Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association will host a day long wind forum on November 4 to explore the benefits and challenges of the wind energy in Michigan. The AWEA program is modeled after similar state focused events being held in Colorado and Ohio.

An all-day conference on November 26 in Okemos will discuss the latest resources and technologies for Michigan anaerobic digester energy projects.  The program will present The Michigan Waste Biomass Inventory, as well as models for projecting the cost and feasibility of locating such projects at agricultural operations, wastewater treatment facilities, and food processing companies. Consumers Energy will discuss new opportunities for power purchase agreements.
