Varnum Welcomes New Associates
Varnum recently welcomed Ethan Beswick, Alexander Campbell, Chloe Cunningham, Ashleigh Draft and Olayinka Ope to the firm. All five previously served as summer associates at Varnum and will be based in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Ethan Beswick is a cum laude graduate of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as executive articles editor for the Journal of International & Comparative Law. He attended Hope College for his undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.
Alexander Campbell is a graduate of Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and worked as a student honors intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Philadelphia. He graduated from Hope College with a B.A. in Management and a minor in Communications.
Chloe Cunningham is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she served as a student article editor for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and symposium editor of the Annals of Health Law. She graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College of Arizona State University with a B.S. in Economics.
Ashleigh Draft graduated from Michigan State University College of Law, where she served as the associate editor of the Michigan State Law Review and received the Jurisprudence Award for Professional Responsibility. She graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. in Philosophy, then went on to earn her M.A. in Philosophy from Northern Illinois University.
Olayinka Ope is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, where she served as a student writer for the Journal of Corporate Law. She also worked as a research assistant/legal researcher for the IC Compassion organization, served as treasurer of the Black Law Student Association and served as secretary of the Christian Legal Society. She is graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics.
