Varnum Sponsors Michigan House-Detroit During NAIAS
Michigan House, a roving pop-up space featuring dynamic Michigan companies, organizations, artists and entrepreneurs, will take residence in downtown Detroit during the North American International Auto Show Jan. 12 – 15.
Michigan House will take residence at 601 W. Fort Street in the Detroit Trading Company Building. Programming is designed to highlight entrepreneurs and makers, designers and musicians, brewers and chefs, community leaders and business visionaries. In addition, several special events are planned.
- Tuesday: Welcome to Detroit - Detroit Food City and Shop Talk Detroit, 5 to 10 p.m.
- Wednesday: East/West Wednesday – Connect the Dots 5 x 5 Statewide Pitch Competition, 5 to 7 p.m.
- Thursday: Lawyers for a Creative Economy Cocktail Party, 4 to 7 p.m. and FAILURE:LAB, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
- Friday: Hard Earned Friday - Toast, 5 to 7 p.m.; Dance Party, 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Varnum is a supporting sponsor of Michigan House throughout the auto show. Varnum and Creative Many Michigan will host a cocktail party prior to FAILURE:LAB, which will feature stories by Ralph Gilles of Fiat Chrysler, Sabrina Nelson of Detroit Institute of Art, Wesley Taylor of Emergence Media, and Christian Birky of Lazlo.
