Varnum Creates Task Force to Help Clients Address Coronavirus Impact

March 4, 2020

As concerns over the coronavirus escalate and reverberate through the marketplace, Varnum has formed a cross-disciplinary task force to guide clients through the myriad business challenges that the COVID-19 virus has created, including with respect to legal and operational planning.

The task force is led by senior members of the firm’s supply chain, labor and employment, health care, immigration, restructuring and commercial litigation practices, all of whom bring substantial experience in dynamic, sensitive and multi-faceted situations similar to the current environment that the coronavirus has created.

“Clients in a variety of industries are facing new challenges caused by heightened concerns and precautions surrounding the coronavirus,” said Scott Hill, Varnum’s executive partner and leader of the firm’s task force. “We assembled the task force to help our clients address these challenges in a comprehensive way in order to mitigate the potential negative impact the virus may have on their business and operations.”
