Roberts Presents on Ethics at MWTA Seminar
Varnum tax attorney Wayne Roberts is a featured presenter at an upcoming ethics seminar for the Michigan Women’s Tax Association.
Roberts will present the most current standards and practices related to ethical decisions while representing clients in tax matters. The seminar, set for May 10 at WMU-Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids, is entitled “Ethical Dilemmas in Representation.”
Roberts is a partner and senior member of Varnum’s tax team. His practice includes all aspects of federal and state tax planning and tax litigation. He represents both closely-held and Fortune 1000 companies in tax disputes with the IRS, the Michigan Department of Treasury and revenue departments in various states, and numerous other taxing authorities.
The Michigan Women’s Tax Association provides educational and networking opportunities for women the in Michigan tax community. Members includes CPAs and accountants, tax lawyers, professors, students, government officials, and members of Michigan industry.
