Goodman Reappointed as Secretary to Michigan Energy Trade Association Board
Varnum energy and environmental law attorney Bruce Goodman was recently reappointed as secretary to the Board of the Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council, a business trade association representing companies in Michigan's growing advanced energy sector.
Goodman has practiced energy and environmental law for more than 30 years and is active in a wide variety of energy and environmental professional organizations, including the Air and Waste Management Association, American Wind Energy Association, and the environmental law sections of local and national bar associations.
In addition to his legal practice, Goodman is well known for first bringing together the people and organizations that later evolved into the Michigan EIBC. He was honored for his efforts at the Council's 2014 annual meeting when he became an inductee into EIBC's "Energy Hall of Fame."
Michigan EIBC’s mission is to grow Michigan’s advanced energy economy by fostering opportunities for innovation and business growth and offering a unified voice in creating a business-friendly environment for the advanced energy industry in Michigan. It is currently actively engaged in crafting and modifying the pending energy legislation under consideration in Michigan's legislature.
