Gleason Completes Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) Credentials
Varnum estate planning attorney Linsey Gleason is now a certified Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), after completing coursework through the American College of Financial Services.
CAP® certification is for advisors and estate planners who wish to provide a higher level of service to clients and to help advance philanthropy in their local communities. CAP® program classes are offered at the graduate level with learning objectives that focus on aspects of charitable planned and major gifts, including:
- Gift planning styles
- Charitable tools
- Planning for impact
- Integrating gifts within a nonprofit
- Ethical, professional, humane and civic ideals in charitable giving
Gleason is a partner in the Estate Planning Practice Team. Her practice focuses on providing full-service estate plan preparation, estate and trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship services, elder law advice and special needs trusts.
