George Named to GROW Board of Trustees

August 1, 2016

Varnum real estate attorney Stacey George has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of Grand Rapids Opportunity for Women (GROW), a nonprofit focused on helping women at various stages of businesses ownership.

George will serve a three-year term on the 22 member board. She was appointed along with three other new board members.

"These new board members will help ensure that the services and resources we provide remain accessible to our clientele," said Bonnie Nawara, CEO of GROW. "These women bring even more great experience to an already powerful board. I feel confident that our organization is in good hands."

George is a real estate and estate planning attorney at Varnum. She represents business owners with commercial real estate holdings; residential real estate developers, buyers and sellers; builders; condominium associations; and landlords and tenants. She also counsels clients on how real estate holdings should be managed, transferred, divided, or disposed of. Such counseling oftentimes dovetails with the other half of Stacey’s practice, estate planning.
