Chappelle to Moderate Renewable Energy Panel at EIBC Conference
Varnum attorney Laura Chappelle will moderate a panel discussion on the future of renewable energy in Michigan at the April 23 annual meeting of Michigan Energy Innovation Business Council at the MSU Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing.
Chappelle will moderate “The Future of Renewables in Michigan: Regulatory Constraints and Opportunities.” The day-long conference takes place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Chappelle focuses her practice on regulatory and legal policy issues involving energy, telecommunications and advanced communications sectors. She has more than 20 years of experience in wholesale and regional energy issues. She previously served as a regulatory policy advisor for both the Michigan House and Senate and also served on the Michigan Public Service Commission for six years, including as chair.
