Bergh Participates in Program to Benefit SE Michigan Charities

Novi, Michigan Nov. 5, 2009 – Varnum estate planning attorney Thomas Bergh recently became a partner in the Southeast Michigan LEAVE A LEGACY® program.

Founded in 1997, the public awareness program is conducted by the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan to inspire people to make charitable bequests, a type of planned gift to be distributed sometime in the future to a charity meaningful to the donor.

LEAVE A LEGACY® partners show a commitment to the community by supporting and promoting the need for individuals to support their favorite charities in their wills and estate plans. LEAVE A LEGACY® is a national, broad-based community campaign that involves all types of nonprofit groups and is conducted by professionals, who assist donors with charitable estate planning.

Bergh has practiced estate and business planning law for more than 20 years. His estate planning experience includes planning and drafting complex trusts of all kinds and their administration, including audit representation before the IRS and litigation.
