Baber Named to YWCA's Finance Committee
Grand Rapids, Michigan March 1, 2010 – Varnum attorney Kimberly Baber has been named to the Finance Committee for the YWCA West Central Michigan.
The Finance Committee deals with matters related to property, investments, trust funds and other business transactions pertaining to the YWCA.
Baber is a partner in Varnum's corporate practice group. She works with many of the firm’s publicly-traded clients with respect to securities law issues, corporate governance matters, mergers and acquisitions, and general contract and business law matters. She has particular expertise in the community banking and financial services industry. She also has substantial experience representing companies and investor groups seeking to raise capital through the sale of debt and equity securities.
Baber received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School. She is also a graduate of Michigan State University's Honors College with a degree in Business Administration.
