Allen to Present on Current Ethical Issues for Estate Planners
Varnum attorney John W. Allen will present at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education's (ICLE) February 13, 2014 seminar "23rd Annual Drafting Estate Planning Documents."
This seminar provides the latest information on estate planning, from estate tax portability to sophisticated technology to specialized gun trusts. Allen will be presenting on Current Ethical Issues for Estate Planners.
John Allen focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation. Allen has written and co-written dozens of articles and books, and speaks frequently to business and law groups. On a regular basis, he teaches courses in law and trial practice to other lawyers, and often serves as an expert witness.
ICLE was created in 1959 at the request of the Board of Commissioners of the State Bar of Michigan to meet the continuing education needs of the legal community. ICLE seminars are hosted throughout the year and address practice problems and challenges that Michigan lawyers face.
