Allen Receives Three ABA Appointments
Varnum trial attorney John Allen has received three American Bar Association (ABA) appointments to the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TTIPS). He was appointed liaison to the ABA Commission on Lawyers Assistance Programs, member of the Revenue Enhancement Committee and re-appointed to membership on the Ethics and Professionalism Committee.
The Ethics and Professionalism Committee advises over 25,000 lawyers on matters of legal ethics and presents programs for the education of both lawyers and the public.
Allen focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation. He has over 40 years' experience handling legal problems and has written and co-written dozens of articles and books. A frequent speaker to business and law groups, Allen also teaches courses in law and trial practice to other lawyers on a regular basis, and often serves as an expert witness. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an elite invitation-only recognition of jury trial lawyers in the United States.
