Allen Moderates Ethics Seminar for State Bar of Michigan
Varnum attorney John W. Allen will serve as moderator of "Ethics 2010: Meeting Today's Challenges" for The Institute of Continuing Legal Education on November 4, 2010 for the State Bar of Michigan.
The seminar will address the most up-to-date ethical dilemmas and how to handle the ethical issues that arise in a law practice daily. The live seminar will take place at the Inn at St. John's, 44045 Five Mile Road, in Plymouth from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The seminar will also be available as a live webcast for participants. Allen has more than 30 years experience practicing law and focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation. Allen's professional affiliations include: State Bar of Michigan, Ethics and Chair Grievance Committee; Certified Civil Trial Advocate, National Board of Trial Advocacy; and Certified Arbitrator, American Arbitration Association. He has written and co-written dozens of articles and books and speaks frequently to business and law groups. Allen's practice is based out of Varnum's Kalamazoo office.
