Allard and Levan Appointed to Policy Committee
Mark Allard and Joseph B. Levan have been named to Varnum's Policy Committee, the governing committee of the law firm.
Mark Allard is a partner in the Firm's Litigation Practice Group. He concentrates his practice on suing insurance companies when they have failed to pay claims and is Varnum's lead attorney in litigation matters dealing with employee benefit claims pursuant to ERISA. He has served as coordinator of the firm's pro bono services program for many years and chairs the firm's Contributions Committee, which makes financial gifts to groups and organizations in the communities in which the firm has offices.
Joe Levan is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group focusing on general corporate and securities matters of all types, along with certain tax matters. He counsels corporate clients on business organization, governance, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as state and federal securities laws for private and public companies. He serves as chairman of the firm's Quality Control Committee as well.
