Varnum attorney Aaron Roberson, Jr. has been named to the Founders Junior Council of the Detroit Institute of Arts, an auxiliary board for young professionals.
Founders Junior Council is dedicated to introducing young adults to the DIA and encouraging a lifelong involvement through a variety of fundraisers and social events organized around the museum’s world-class collection and special exhibitions.
Roberson is a member of Varnum’s Corporate Practice Team. His experience centers on mergers and acquisitions, lending deals, commercial real estate transactions and a diverse range of other commercial activities. He serves a broad clientele, encompassing businesses of all sizes, private equity firms, financial institutions, and economic development organizations.
Roberson is a graduate of University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he was an associate editor for Detroit Mercy Law Review. During law school, he served as a legal extern to the Hon. Victoria A. Roberts of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the College of Wooster.
