Traffic fatalities have spiked over the past four years, and distracted driving – including texting – is suspected as the primary reason. In an effort to bring awareness to the problem, Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo Public Safety and other community partners recently hosted a mock trauma event, demonstrating the sobering reality of a traffic accident fatality.
