Dinner and a live and silent auction to benefit Type 1 Diabetes research will follow.

Varnum is proud to support the fourth annual Swing to Cure Diabetes Golf Outing to benefit the Michigan Comprehensive Diabetes Center and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The outing was founded by former University of Michigan football player and Varnum attorney Rich Hewlett and his wife, Chris. The couple felt urged to start raising money and awareness for juvenile diabetes after their son, Jeffrey, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 13 years ago.
