Varnum recently represented a global, Tier 1 automotive supplier who entered into a neutrality relationship with the UAW for a facility located in Ford's Millenium Supplier Park in Chicago, Illinois. Varnum guided the client through the neutrality process and was the lead negotiator in the subsequent collective bargaining negotiations.

A 5-year, non-traditional agreement was reached and ratified, giving the client broad operational flexibility, strong management rights and competitive wages and employee benefits. Employees pay 20% of the monthly premium for medical and dental benefits for themselves and dependents.
