Varnum Welcomes Kim Mitchell to Employee Benefits Group

Grand Rapids, Mich. August 6, 2009 – Varnum is pleased to announce that Kimberley P.H. Mitchell has joined the firm as an associate in the Grand Rapids office.
Mitchell joins Varnum's Employee Benefits group, where she focuses her practice on executive compensation and deferred compensation. “Our team is thrilled to welcome Kim, who has the experience, energy, and enthusiasm to help the firm and our clients negotiate the ever-changing benefits environment," said Tom Bergh, chair of the Employee Benefits group. Mitchell is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. She has served as a board member for the Center for Women in Transition. She is an adjunct instructor for Davenport University and has also taught for Northwood University and Hope College.
Mitchell is a graduate of Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York. She also holds a master's degree in Communications Disorders/Speech Pathology from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University.
