Five Varnum employees were recognized in Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s inaugural class of “Unsung Legal Heroes,” honoring law firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes.
Honorees were chosen from eight different categories, including firm administration, law librarian, legal marketing, legal secretary, information technology, accounting, paralegal, and legal education. A total of 20 employees were recognized. The five from Varnum include:

- Sara Burr, Legal Secretary
- David Ghareeb, Information Technology
- Laura Harner, Paralegal
- Jodi Johnson, Legal Secretary
