Banking Attorney David McLeod Joins Varnum’s Metro Detroit Office

David K. McLeod has joined Varnum LLP as a counsel attorney in the Metro Detroit office.
McLeod has been practicing in the banking industry for more than 25 years. He has experience in a broad range of commercial and corporate transactions and focuses primarily on the representation of lending institutions in real property, acquisition and commercial financing transactions.
Prior to joining Varnum, McLeod was a senior principle at Miller Canfield where he practiced for 16 years. He has been listed in Best Lawyers in America® for the past 22 years, holds an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell and has been recognized by Chambers USA as a 2011 leading attorney.
McLeod holds a bachelors degree from Michigan State University and received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Prior to pursuing higher education, McLeod served a four-year term in the United States Air Force.
