There's horsepower in our energy field.

Our attorneys have worked in the energy field for years, with traditional industries such as gas and oil, coal, and hydroelectric. We also work with newer alternative sources including wind, solar, nuclear, methane recovery and ethanol production.

We've served the Michigan Public Service Commission and were active in obtaining passage of 2000 PA 141, restructuring Michigan's electric industry. We provide counsel to Energy Michigan, a trade group of businesses and end users who advocate competition in the electric sector, and we regularly intervene in cases before the Michigan Public Service Commission that involve rate-making decisions and other utility issues. We have been involved in oil and gas and electric rate cases at the Michigan Public Service Commission. Our clients - with our help - have built ethanol plants and wind farms, coal-fired generating plants and underground storage facilities. We also help clients save on energy costs by advising on the options available to them.

We have both the 40,000 foot perspective and the detailed knowledge of this formerly highly-regulated industry to help you meet your energy goals in the new energy marketplace.
