I am very pleased to be part of the Western District of Michigan Federal Bar Association's efforts to bring United States Supreme Court Clerk William Suter to the Western District of Michigan Federal Bar Association's annual meeting on October 17, 2012.  During the annual meeting there will be a swearing-in ceremony to the United States Supreme Court Bar.  There also are tentative plans for a CLE program that morning focused on appellate practice.  More details about the program will be posted on the Western District of Michigan Federal Bar Association's Web site as the annual meeting draws near.
