Saugatuck Dunes Settlement in Next 30 Days?
March 8, 2012By: Bryan R. WaltersSingapore Dunes LLC v. Township of Saugatuck, the highly-publicized lawsuit related to the potential development of over 300 acres of Lake Michigan lakefront property in Saugatuck Township by Oklahoma billionaire Aubrey McClendon, may be moving closer to conclusion. The lawsuit involves a challenge by Mr. McClendon's LLC to the enactment of a zoning ordinance that placed restrictions on development of certain property along the lakeshore, including Mr. McClendon's property at issue in the lawsuit.
